In the unlikely event of a MANDATORY EVACUATION ORDER FOR CHARLESTON COUNTY during your stay, rest assured that both the Owner/Host and the Property Management Company WILL REFUND 100% OF YOUR PAYMENTS. Once refunded, neither party will have further liability regarding your Reservation.
Please note that ONLY MANDATORY EVACUATIONS WILL QUALIFY FOR REFUNDS. No other travel disruptions due to weather, whether in South Carolina or other states, are eligible. For protection, consider travel insurance, especially in high-risk months like hurricane season. Airbnb's insurance or other options are recommended.
BUGS
As Charleston is situated in a warm, coastal climate it is possible to see insects inside or outside of the home at times. These include palmetto bugs, sand gnats, mosquitoes, ants, etc. Those who reside in the Lowcountry just accept this as part of living here but it may be unsettling for those from other areas. The home is treated regularly for pest control but this will not entirely eliminate insects from getting inside at times. Please do your best to not keep doors and windows open and not leave food or drinks out in the home as this will attract insects. FINDING AN INSECT IS NOT CAUSE FOR A REFUND.

Neighborhood overviewImagine the convenience of having Folly Beach, entertainment, gourmet restaurants, award winning hospitals, the West Ashley Greenway, Avondale , and low-country history just a few minutes away from your front door. Wespanee Place is an established neighborhood . Residents here enjoy its mature trees, draping oaks, and fragrant flowers.
West Ashley is a large, mainly residential area known for the cluster of global fusion restaurants, laid-back eateries, and lively bars around the busy intersection of Magnolia Road and Savannah Highway in the Avondale neighborhood. A mix of major malls, plus boutiques and spas, is another draw. The West Ashley Greenway trail attracts walkers and mountain bikers.
Getting aroundIt is best to have your own vehicle to take full advantage of the area as public transportation is not very convenient in the Charleston area
